MAXOLUTION, global industry experts in industrial automation and mobile robotics systems, has introduced the Mobile Robot Platform 1600 (MR P1600), a standardized, modular mobile robot designed to support pallet transport and material handling across manufacturing and logistics environments.
The platform is engineered to address common challenges in mobile robotics deployment, including system integration complexity and operational downtime associated with charging. By combining a standardized architecture with inductive charging capabilities, the MR P1600 is designed to support more consistent material flow and reduce reliance on manual handling.

The system can be configured with contactless inductive charging using MOVITRANS spot or line solutions. This approach allows vehicles to charge during operation, reducing the need for extended charging interruptions and supporting higher system availability.
In addition to energy management, the platform is designed to simplify integration into existing material flow systems. Its standardized design reduces project complexity and supports faster deployment, while modular load-handling configurations enable scalability as operational requirements evolve.
Noted Caleb Boles, MAXOLUTION sales engineer, “Operations choose automation that delivers reliable material flow and scales easily. MR P1600 combines a standardized platform with contactless charging to keep vehicles moving, simplify integration, and support scalable expansion as needs change.”
The MR P1600 is designed for pallet-based logistics and assembly environments where reliable and repeatable material transport is required. The platform supports multiple load-handling configurations, including conveyor transfer, lift systems, drive-under functionality, and precision docking, using both standardized and custom-engineered attachments.
Performance specifications include a payload capacity of up to 1600 kg, travel speeds of up to 1.6 m/s, and the ability to operate on gradients of up to ±7%. Positioning accuracy of ±4 mm supports repeatable docking and consistent material transfer between systems. The platform also integrates with modern industrial automation environments through a range of control and safety interfaces, including EtherCAT, FSoE, Safe I/Os, and 360 V + 24 V system configurations. WLAN connectivity and VDA 5050 compatibility support interoperability with fleet management systems.
Energy configuration options include onboard storage as well as inductive power transfer with MOVITRANS, supporting power delivery of up to 11 kW.
The MR P1600 is built on SEW-EURODRIVE control technology and leverages a standardized platform architecture to support reduced deployment risk and simplified maintenance. With MAXOLUTION’s system integration expertise, the platform is designed to support scalable deployment across a range of intralogistics applications.
