Dassault Systèmes has announced a new strategic partnership with the global industrial automation and robotics experts at KUKA to enhance digital access to advanced simulation and design toolsfor manufacturers.
As part of the agreement, Dassault Systèmes will join KUKA’s newly launched mosaixx digital ecosystem, making its 3DEXPERIENCE platform and applications directly available to automation and robotics customers worldwide.

The collaboration aims to empower users across diverse industrial sectors with intuitive access to Dassault Systèmes’ virtual twin technologies and collaborative design tools—supporting more flexible, adaptable, and efficient robotic automation strategies.
The partnership comes at a time of rapid growth for industrial automation. With more than 4 million industrial robots operating globally in 2024, and installations projected to reach 718,000 annually by 2026, demand for interoperable, scalable platforms is rising. KUKA’s mosaixx, launched in 2024, is designed as an open, cloud-based ecosystem that supports machine builders and system integrators—regardless of equipment manufacturer or control platform.
Dassault Systèmes’ 3DEXPERIENCE platform is already widely adopted in industrial sectors for its ability to simulate and engineer robotic systems and infrastructure virtually using real-time data before implementation. The new partnership will streamline access to those capabilities for KUKA’s customer base.
“Our collaboration with Dassault Systèmes enables us to expand our mosaixx portfolio with industry-leading virtual twin technology. Engineers can carry out simulations and analyses with real-time data while streamlined collaboration empowers system integrators with flexible applications for enhanced adaptability and innovation,” said Quirin Goerz, CEO, KUKA Digital.
“By partnering with KUKA, we can offer streamlined access to the 3DEXPERIENCE platform and our many applications such as CATIA, DELMIA and SOLIDWORKS. This will open up new possibilities for customers to benefit from the virtual world and collaborate and innovate in diverse sectors such as automotive, aerospace, electronics, metalworking, logistics, healthcare and more,” said Gian Paolo Bassi, Senior Vice President, Customer Role Experience, Dassault Systèmes.
The announcement was made during Dassault Systèmes’ 3DEXPERIENCE World event in Houston, a global user gathering dedicated to the SOLIDWORKS and 3DEXPERIENCE platforms.
