In induction applications, robots singulate mixed parcels, bags and products and place them for downstream sortation. Depalletizing systems identify and remove cases from mixed-SKU, rainbow and single-SKU pallets, while palletizing configurations support the reverse process. These operations are supported by a common perception and control architecture, allowing the technology to be adapted across different material-handling tasks without treating each application as an unrelated automation project.

A defining part of the company’s approach is supervised autonomy. When the vision system encounters an object or arrangement that it cannot confidently resolve, the robot can request remote assistance through the company’s Yonder platform. A human operator is then able to review the scene, provide guidance and return the robotic system to autonomous operation. This model allows one remote operator to support multiple robots simultaneously, while reserving human judgment for exceptions that remain difficult for automated perception. It also provides a practical alternative to either stopping the line or requiring a person to remain stationed beside each robotic cell.

The company also develops turnkey work cells and works with robot, gripper and systems-integration partners to support deployment within existing warehouse and distribution environments. Its systems are used by logistics, e-commerce, postal, retail and third-party fulfillment operations across multiple countries. Data gathered from deployed robots is used to support the continued development of the platform’s perception models, exception-handling tools and system controls.
